MEDIAGUIDE has sent out a letter to its subscribers, announcing that it will cease its radio data monitoring services on MARCH 1st. The company has also reached an agreement with MEDIA MONITORS to continue offering radio data to its clientele.
While MEDIAGUIDE "will focus on leveraging its proprietary content-recognition technologies in other venues," CEO STEVEN LUBIN wrote. "MEDIA MONITORS [will] continue provide you with the high-quality data services you have come to expect. MEDIA MONITORS will provide you with a smooth transition from the MEDIAGUIDE Network and to provide you with detailed information on the extensive data services MEDIA MONITORS provide."
"We look forward to welcoming all the MEDIAGUIDE customers and will do everything we can to make the transition as smooth as possible," MEDIA MONITORS Pres. PHILIPPE GENERALI said. "Our goal is to make sure all the subscribers continue to get the data they need for their businesses."
