BRYAN SUITS has exited CLEAR CHANNEL Talk KOGO-A-F/SAN DIEGO, the veteran host told his TWITTER and FACEBOOK followers.
At the same time, ENTERCOM Talk KMBZ-A-F/KANSAS CITY host CHRIS MERRILL is headed to KOGO to take over the 3-7p (PT) slot weekdays starting TUESDAY (2/21), with LADONA HARVEY moving to SUITS' midday slot. HARVEY had been hosting 2-6p on the FM side while ROGER HEDGECOCK's show finished its long run on the AM side. BOB SULLIVAN's show will now run 7-9p weeknights.
"So, just to be clear," SUITS wrote, "KOGO and I agreed that I could do the noon-2 (eventually 3) show from SEATTLE. When a change to 3-6p was floated, we couldn't agree on what it would take to move to SAN DIEGO. The good news is, BEAN from (CBS RADIO Alternative) KROQ (/LOS ANGELES) (and fellow Seattleite) is kicking my ass to do a daily podcast and occasional live shows in L.A. and The OC. So stay tuned."
