Mike Wheless Signs New Deal With WQDR, Cody Clark Named MD

CURTIS MEDIA Country WQDR/RALEIGH morning personality MIKE WHELESS has signed a new, multi-year contract. The new deal guarantees WHELESS will remain as ringleader of the Q Morning Crew program through 2015 alongside co-hosts JANIE CAROTHERS and MARTY "THE ONE MAN PARTY" YOUNG.

At the same time, the station has upped current part-timer CODY CLARK to MD/nights.

In making both announcements, 94.7 QDR Station Manager LISA MCKAY said, "These are both critically important positions. CURTIS MEDIA's pledge to being live and local 24/7 means our listeners can always connect with 'QDR, and we are always plugged into what’s happening here and now."
