BMI Aids Hurricane Victims

BMI has established a website -- www.bmi.com/hurricane -- to aid Gulf region music business storm victims. The site will allow composers to post contact info, ensuring that they continue to receive royalties even if they can't receive mail at their normal address. 

Additionally, BMI has waved licensing fees for SEPTEMBER and OCTOBER for customers such as radio and TV stations and bars and restaurants. BMI President/CEO DEL BRYANT said, "All of us at BMI offer our heartfelt sympathy to those whose lives have been disrupted by the incredibly destructive storms that have plagued the Southeast and the Gulf Coast. This special section of the BMI website will be a home for resources that we hope will assist those individuals and businesses that are a part of this extended BMI community."
