PUBLIC RADIO CAPITAL's PRC DENVER-I LLC is selling Classical KVOD/LAKEWOOD-DENVER, CO to PUBLIC BROADCASTING OF COLORADO, INC. (COLORADO PUBLIC RADIO) for $8.364 million. The buyer has been operating the station under an LMA since 2008.
In other filings with the FCC, E-STRING WIRELESS, LTD. is selling FM translator K233BE/ATHENS, TX to LAKE COUNTRY RADIO, LP for $20,000 under an option agreement under which the buyer has been paying for the station on a monthly basis.
NETWORK COMMUNICATIONS COMPANY has applied for a Silent STA for KNGR-A/DAINGERFIELD, TX due to the theft of copper wiring, an air conditioner system, and antenna tuning unit components.
COURIER COMMUNICATIONS CORPORATION has requested a Silent STA for Urban WNOV-A/MILWAUKEE due to a dispute with the time broker, RADIO MULTI-MEDIA, for the station and the alleged removal of equipment by the broker. WNOV had been used to feed FM translator W273AT/MEQUON, WI.
