VIDA RADIO MINISTRIES is transferring Spanish Religion WCRM-A/FORT MYERS, FL to MANNA CHRISTIAN MISSIONS, INC. for $25,000 in settlement of a lawsuit.
In other filings with the FCC, 1 A CHORD, INC. is selling noncommercial Religion KTMU/MUENSTER, TX to SOUTH CENTRAL OKLAHOMA CHRISTIAN BROADCASTING INC. for $1,000. The buyer is also purchasing noncommercial KYZQ/MOUNT PLEASANT, TX from MILLENNIUM BROADCASTING CORP. for $5,750.
TIMSFORD BROADCASTING COMPANY INC. is selling Oldies WZYX-A/COWAN, TN to MARYLOU GARNER's WISEMAN MEDIA for an undisclosed price (the parties did not file the sale contract with the application).
THE CHRISTIAN & MISSIONARY ALLIANCE is selling FM translator W268AB/KENTON, OH to ASSOCIATED CHRISTIAN BROADCASTERS, INC. for $1.
CROSSTEXAS MEDIA, INC. has applied for a Silent STA for KCOX/JASPER, TX due to equipment failure.
MICHAEL BALDAUF has requested a Silent STA for FM translator K262AQ/COLORADO SPRINGS, CO while new facilities are constructed.
And DAVID L. SMITH has applied for a Silent STA for WGRL/TUSCARORA TOWNSHIP, MI, which was signed on for tests on JANUARY 31st and then taken off the air the next day after operating for the FCC minimum schedule; the station is awaiting underground power line installation before commencing regular broadcasting.
The Commission has also granted CALVARY CHAPEL OF KANSAS CITY's sale of the construction permit for noncommercial KYLF/FREEMAN, MO to BOTT BROADCASTING sister company COMMUNITY BROADCASTING, INC. for $40,000 and has also SALISBURY UNIVERSITY FOUNDATION INC.'s sale the construction permit for noncommercial FM WDDE/DOVER, DE to DELAWARE FIRST MEDIA CORPORATION for $24,000 over an informal objection by RICHARD SNYDER. In addition, the Commission granted NORTHWESTERN COLLEGE's sale of Contemporary Inspirational KFNL (LEGACY 92.7)/KINDRED, ND-FARGO to ROBERT J. INGSTAD's MEDIACTIVE, LLC for $250,000 over a Petition to Deny by MEDIACTIVE, LLC. And the Commission dismissed the filing by a woman calling herself JOANN NICOLA LUTZ DEDISTEFANO PHILLIPS attempting to transfer control of Oldies WJJL-A/NIAGARA FALLS, NY from M. JOHN PHILLIPS' PHILLIPS COMMUNICATIONS claiming that she is PHILLIPS' wife and alleging various claims against PHILLIPS; she had previously made claims to the same effect which were dismissed by the FCC in an involuntary assignment of license in 2004 and a license renewal filing in 2007.
