JUSTIN BIEBER celebrated his 18th birthday YESTERDAY (3/1) on THE ELLEN DEGENERES SHOW, and received quite a surprise gift from his manager SCOOTER BRAUN.

"You work really really hard," BRAUN told BIEBER onstage, reports YAHOO!, "before telling the talk show host and her audience about all the charitable things the teen does with THE MAKE A WISH FOUNDATION. 'I always yell at you, Don't get anything flashy. You know, we're not about that. Be humble, be humble and I kind of broke my own rule -- So we wanted to make sure since you love cars that when you're on the road you are always environmentally friendly and we decided to get you a car that would make you stand out'."

And BIEBER will stand out in a brand new FISKER KARMA, a plug-in hybrid luxury sports sedan.

"Wow, is it all electric?" YAHOO notes BIEBER asked BRAUN before hopping in the driver's seat of the $100,000-plus vehicle. "Crazy! This is amazing."
