More Changes

More staff changes are happening at MERLIN MEDIA News WIQI (FM NEWS 101.1)/CHICAGO, reports CHICAGOLAND RADIO AND MEDIA, with former crosstown Independent WCIU-TV (THE U) Director of News Content PATRICK BALDWIN upped from part-time to Lead Producer, handling afternoons and evenings.  Editor LINDSEY REISER has been upped to anchor/reporter, primarily working WEDNESDAY through SUNDAY.

In addition, feature reporter SAM SYLK, who is starting his own syndicated Urban show for MAJOR TRENDZ, will cut back from full-time to part-time.

And anchor/reporter/producer GUY BAUER and producer JP ALLEN are exiting the station, the former to focus on his corporate video production business and the latter to move to BEASLEY Top 40/Rhythmic WRDW (WIRED 96.5)/PHILADELPHIA as morning show producer.  Afternoon traffic anchor ELIZABETH BRAUN left the station last week.
