New South Communications/Jackson Sets New Record With Children's Hospital Radiothon

NEW SOUTH COMMUNICATIONS Country WUSJ/JACKSON, MS PD RUSS WILLIAMS tells ALL ACCESS that the station, along with sister Top 40 Top 40 WYOY (Y-101), AC WJKK (MIX 98.7) and their MEDIRIAN cluster, raised $381,289 with their radiothon for the BLAIRE E. BATSON CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL.

The radiothon took place from FEBRUARY 29th through MARCH 2nd in the lobby of the hospital and set a new record for the most the stations have ever raised for the hospital. The 2011 total was $317,000 and the previous record was $370,000 in 2008.
