THE MINNIE PEARL CANCER FOUNDATION has just announced its HATS ACROSS THE ROW event will take place on TUESDAY, APRIL 17th. The parade down music row will feature KERRY COLLINS and his motorcycle gang, antique Mini Coopers, stilt walkers, hula hoopers, the HILLWOOD HIGH SCHOOL MARCHING BAND and, of course, MINNIE PEARL look-alikes, ending with a party at MAGOR BOB MUSIC at 1111 17th Ave S.
MUSIC ROW businesses can show their support by placing HATS ACROSS THE ROW yard signs in front of their buildings for a donation of $50. The MPCF is also continuing to collect “Minnie Moments,” a campaign that features stories from clients, survivors, and caregivers who have used MPCF’S services, as well as celebrities and fans of MINNIE’S.
“With this event we honor the iconic MINNIE PEARL, but we also recognize the connection between NASHVILLE’S music industry and THE MINNIE PEARL CANCER FOUNDATION and the impact cancer has had on the lives of so many along the ROW,” says SUSAN EARL HOSBACH, Executive Director of MPCF. “MINNIE created a community around cancer and our hope is this event can bring some of that community together for an afternoon of fun on MUSIC ROW while also raising awareness for our organization and mission to create a more confident cancer journey for adults impacted by cancer, anywhere.”
To share your “MINNIE MOMENT,” place an order for a yard sign, or to find out more visit www.minniepearl.org.
