Revenues Rise At Newcap For Fourth Quarter

NEWCAP (NEWFOUNDLAND CAPITAL CORP. LTD.) fourth-quarter revenue rose 9% to C$34.7 million, with profit up by C$9.1 million to C$13 million.

EBITDA for the Canadian broadcasting group jumped 21% to C$10.6 million, attributed to the revenue increase as well as lower expenses due to a stock appreciation rights plan hedge and a one-time additional copyright fee expense.
