Former "American Idol" contestant and 19 RECORDINGS/ BNA RECORDS NASHVILLE artist CASEY JAMES is set to release his debut, self-titled album on MARCH 20th, and will kick off a week of country-wide promotion for the record with a performance of “Let’s Don’t Call It A Night” on "The Ellen Degeneres Show" on MARCH 21st. “My heart gets fluttery thinking about it,” said CASEY. “All my life, I've wanted to get an album in stores. It will be a huge day.”
In addition to co-writing nine of the 11 songs on the album, he also played guitar on all of the tracks. “I love to play. It’s my passion,” said CASEY. “The very first lead part (on “Let’s Don’t Call It A Night”) is on a TELECASTER, and then the end is on a STRATOCASTER, just because I felt like the end needed to be more sexy. And where STRAT says sexy to me, TELECASTER says Country. Why not both, right?”
Fans can also enter to win a trip to a taping of "American Idol" on CASEY’s web page. For more on the contest, exclusive premieres of each track from the record, and CASEY, visit www.caseyjamesofficial.com.
