CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40 WHYI (Y100)/MIAMI APD/MD/Creative Services Director BRIAN MACK resigns after five years as he has been tapped as the new PD at sister Top 40 WRVW (107.5 THE RIVER)/NASHVILLE. MACK will report directly to CC/NASHVILLE OM and WSIX PD MICHAEL BRYAN.
BRYAN told ALL ACCESS, "To put it simply... BRIAN GETS IT. I've been a fan of his work for many years. He understands branding on a level you don't often find. His creative brilliance combined with an absolute desire to win will be a lethal combination as we begin the next chapter on one of AMERICA's truly legendary Top 40's. Can't wait to see what he does! His first day in the office will be MONDAY, APRIL 8th."
MACK gave ALL ACCESS his thoughts on his new home: "I must say I've been stealing MICHAEL BRYAN's ideas now for years ... at least now we can come up with them together! Joining such an amazingly successful and family-like cluster at the helm of WRVW is an honor. Sadly, I am leaving behind some people who have become great friends as well as co-workers over the last 5 years. I literally could not explain to anyone in a few words what ALEX TEAR means to me, just know that I will be very sad to not see and work with him on a daily basis, however ... He'll be on speed-dial."
No word on who gets the APD/MD/Creative Services stripes at Y100, yet.
