Triple A Conventions Update
The granddaddy of them all, The FMQB TRIPLE A CONFERENCE, celebrates 20 years in 2012. The event will again be held in BOULDER, CO at the ST. JULIEN HOTEL & SPA AUGUST 8th-11th. BONNIE RAITT has already been announced as the opening keynote Q&A.
Further, the first round of performers have now been revealed and include ALABAMA SHAKES, DRY THE RIVER, GIVERS, GOOD OLD WAR, HEARTLESS BASTARDS, IMAGINE DRAGONS, MICHAEL KIWANUKA, MILOW, THE DUNWELLS, TRAMPLED BY TURTLES and ZACK HECKENDORF.

Veterans WILLIE NELSON, NORAH JONES, PAUL WELLER and JOE JACKSON have been added to the list of artists performing at the 12th annual NON-COMMVENTION , which returns to PHILADELPHIA MAY 17th-19th. They join the previously announced BRANDI CARLILE, SINEAD O'CONNOR, NADA SURF, RUFUS WAINTWRIGHT, DIEGO GARCIA, DRY THE RIVER, JC BROOKS AND THE UPTOWN SOUND, LEE FIELDS and FATHER JOHN MISTY.
All the meetings and music will be held at the WXPN building, which also houses the WORLD CAFE LIVE venue. A complete schedule of the 2012 event is in the works, but this year’s NON-COMMversation will be with blogger BOB LEFSETZ.
