WSJS-WPTF's Brad And Britt 'Show Promise' For Syndication, Says Boss

While CURTIS MEDIA GROUP's former Talk WZTK (FM TALK 101.1)/GREENSBORO-WINSTON SALEM-RALEIGH continues to stunt with a temporary Top 40 format as PULSE 102, President PHIL ZACHARY told the BURLINGTON TIMES-NEWS that former WZTK morning team BRAD KRANTZ and BRITT WHITMIRE, now in afternoons at sister Talk WSJS-A, could develop into a syndicated property.

BRAD AND BRITT, said ZACHARY, are making "quite a stir" in RALEIGH on their new affiliate, Talk WKIX-A (TALKRADIO 850 WPTF).  "They actually could get bigger before it's all over," he added. "I do think it's got some promise as a syndicated show."

A new format for the FM station is expected to be announced by the second week of APRIL.  ZACHARY said that he had received "about 2,000 e-mails" complaining about the format flip, as well as 25,000 clicks on the station's former web page.
