Ohana Media Group Brings On Geiger, Promotes Corbin, Ryan And Phillips

OHANA MEDIA GROUP has added veteran programmer CHUCK GEIGER as the new PD for Hot A/C-AAA hybrid KMBQ (Q99-7)/WASILLA, AK. GEIGER will take over the programming reins on APRIL 25th.

In making the announcement OHANA MEDIA GROUP VP/Programming TOM OAKES commented, "CHUCK brings us a unique background in operations, programming and promotions that will help us take Q99-7 to the next performance level. Q99-7 has been a vital part of WASILLA and the entire MAT-SU VALLEY since 1984 and has earned its name of 'Valley Radio.' OAKES also announced three more promotions in the OHANA MEDIA GROUP/ANCHORAGE-WASILLA Cluster.

WENDY CORBIN is upped to Local Sales Manager for Q99-7.

Production Dir. SHELLEY RYAN has been promoted to APD for A/C KDBZ (102.1 THE PEAK).

TYLER PHILLIPS has been named Chief Producer/Programming Assistant for talk station KBYR-A.
