Report: Ron Kramer Exits Jefferson Public Radio

Kramer Exits

SOUTHERN OREGON UNIVERSITY noncommercial JEFFERSON PUBLIC RADIO/ASHLAND, OR and JPR FOUNDATION Exec. Dir. RON KRAMER is exiting after 37 years at the station.

OREGON PUBLIC BROADCASTING reports that KRAMER's exit follows an audit last SEPTEMBER that said KRAMER's dual role with the station and the foundation represented a conflict of interest and raised questions about debt incurred in acquiring a theater and warehouse in MEDFORD for the station's new facility.  The REDDING RECORD SEARCHLIGHT adds that KRAMER has been notified that his employment will end no later than JUNE 30th.
