The next football superstar to get his own show on SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO may be legendary 49ERS and RAIDERS wide receiver JERRY RICE, who the NEW YORK POST's ANDREW MARCHAND says is "close to signing" to host a show on SIRIUS NFL RADIO.
The paper also says that the channel is close to signing former DALLAS COWBOY DARYL (MOOSE) JOHNSON, who presently works as color analyst on FOX' NFL coverage.
MARCHAND adds that JOHN RIGGINS has left SIRIUS to join RED ZEBRA BROADCASTING's fledgling sports radio operation in WASHINGTON, to be launched by REDSKINS owner DANIEL SNYDER later this year.
