Look for the House to accept the Senate version of the indecency bill on WEDNESDAY.
The "Broadcast Indecency Enforcement Act," sponsored by Sen. SAM BROWNBACK (R-KS), increases the maximum broadcast indecency fine to $325,000 for each violation but does not include the House provisions regarding fining talent for the violations. House Majority Leader JOHN BOEHNER (R-OH) decided to drop the House version late last week and scheduled the Senate bill for consideration TUESDAY and a vote on WEDNESDAY, with passage and signing by President BUSH expected.
