Ex-KNX GM Nicholaw Loses Age Suit Against Infinity

Longtime former CBS News KNX-A/LOS ANGELES GM GEORGE NICHOLAW has lost his age discrimination suit against CBS predecessor INFINITY BROADCASTING in the CALIFORNIA Court of Appeal. 

The METROPOLITAN NEWS-ENTERPRISE reports that NICHOLAW, 75, who sued over his SEPTEMBER 2003 firing but found the suit dismissed by summary judgement in LOS ANGELES Superior Court, lost his appeal to Division One Court of Appeal. The court ruled that INFINITY had a nondiscriminatory motive to fire NICHOLAW, the consolidation of management positions for KNX and sister Talk KFWB-A in a single manager.
