The FCC has rejected the informal objection filed by seven local WATSONVILLE, CA residents to the grant of an LPFM license to OHANA DE WATSONVILLE for Hawaiian music low power KAPU-LP/WATSONVILLE. The objectors complained that the station's programming does not conform to its promises in its application and should be in Spanish because the town is majority Hispanic. The FCC noted that it does not substitute its own judgement in programming decisions for that of licensees.
