As ALL ACCESS first reported on SATURDAY, (NET NEWS 6/3), RCA/NASHVILLE Executive VP/Promotion BUTCH WAUGH has named KEITH GALE as VP/National Promotion. KEITH, who has been with RCA for a dozen years, replaces the exiting MIKE WILSON, a 17-year veteran of the label.
WAUGH commented said, "KEITH has been with RCA's promotion team for 12 years. His strategic mind, forward thinking, love of the artist roster, passion for the music, and dedication to his staff, and this company are only a few reasons that give me pleasure in elevating him to Vice President of Promotion."
GALE started with RCA in 1994 as NORTHEAST Regional, rising to Nat'l Promo Dir., in 1997. Before joining the label he was the Promotions Dir., at WXTU/PHILADELPHIA. GALE will report to WAUGH.
In other RCA news, ALL ACCESS is hearing that WKLB/BOSTON Promo Dir., JOSH EASLER will be taking over in the Mid Atlantic/Southwest Region. That position was vacated when TED WAGNER exited on FRIDAY (6/2).
