AWM, Ford Offer 'Emerging Scholarships'

The ALLIANCE FOR WOMEN IN MEDIA (AWM) FOUNDATION and FORD MOTOR COMPANY FUND are launching Emerging Scholarships, a scholarship contest will identify two promising female undergraduate or graduate students to provide journalistic content for AWM. The two students chosen will attend the GRACIE AWARDS LUNCHEON on MAY 23th, 2012 in LOS ANGELES, where they will be presented with their scholarships.

"The ALLIANCE FOR WOMEN IN MEDIA FOUNDATION is proud to continue our long association with FORD MOTOR COMPANY FUND by introducing this new innovative scholarship program," AWMF Chair VALERIE BLACKBURN said. "This new scholarship contest is an exciting opportunity to engage tomorrow’s media professionals, and we look forward to sharing the recipients’ outstanding work."
