CLEAR CHANNEL has announced the return of KCCY/PUEBLO, CO. The Country station returned to the air TODAY (4/13) at noon. 1350 KCCY-A will focus on Country greats like GARTH BROOKS, ALABAMA, THE JUDDS and KENNY ROGERS.
KCCY was a PUEBLO radio station in the '80s and '90s, but in 2001 KCCY-F transitioned to a SOUTHERN COLORADO radio station and expanded to COLORADO SPRINGS. KCCY-A will now serve the PUEBLO community with Country programming from the 80's and 90's.
"1350 KCCY is designed for true Country music fans," said CLEAR CHANNEL Regional Programming Manager PAUL KELLEY. "Today's Country is definitely different, but KCCY's music gets to the roots of what makes PUEBLO such a great community -- hard work, friends, and deep family bonds."
"Our entire PUEBLO staff is very excited about 1350 KCCY and it truly shows our commitment to listeners in the PUEBLO community," said CLEAR CHANNEL Regional Market Manager GLYNN ALAN. "The return of KCCY also will allow us to connect local businesses and charities with a greater platform of local listeners in PUEBLO."
