Chattanooga Vet Tommy Jett Injured In Serious Car Accident

Longtime CHATTANOOGA DJ TOMMY JETT was involved in a car accident WEDNESDAY afternoon. WRCB-TV3 reports his injuries do not appear to be life-threatening, but he was severely injured.

JETT's car reportedly went airborne after it hit a guard rail, and flipped over five times before coming down. It took rescuers more than two hours to get him from the wreckage.

"Late THURSDAY afternoon," noted WRCB, "a team of surgeons at ERLANGER was scheduled to pin two fractured bones in his neck and one fractured bone in his back. A laceration covered the total top of his head."
