The WORLDWIDE RADIO SUMMIT 2012 was a huge success this past weekend (4/26-28) with attendance up 20% over last year! Your hosts ALL ACCESS and A&R WORLDWIDE want to thank you -- the hundreds of delegates from the US and around the world who attended to share their knowledge and love for radio, for your support.
From the THURSDAY night kickoff at the HARD ROCK CAFE through some of the most engaging sessions and discussions ever about where radio, digital, social and music are headed, the entire weekend was simply amazing. We'll have some video recaps to review shortly, to show you a taste of what you missed if you weren't able to attend this year.
Here is our coverage of the FRIDAY sessions, when you click here.
And, here is our cover from the SATURDAY sessions -- just click here.
ALL ACCESS President & Publisher, and WORLDWIDE RADIO SUMMIT co-Founder JOEL DENVER noted, "We're all very gratified and honored to have had so many forward-thinking executives from radio, music, social and digital spaces from all corners of the globe take the stage on FRIDAY (4/27) and SATURDAY (4/28) to share their love of radio and their passion for the medium with the hundreds of delegates from around the world who actively participated in discussions aimed at moving radio forward in a changing world.
"Their active participation and interaction yielded new knowledge at each session. We hope what they learned and shared will be carried forward and become profitable keystones of future success for their stations and companies. We appreciate their participation and thank all of our sponsors for their terrific support.
"Congratulations to all of our 2012 WORLDWIDE RADIO SUMMIT INDUSTRY AWARDS winners on being recognized for their contributions. My deepest appreciation to WORLDWIDE RADIO SUMMIT dynamic friend and partner SAT BISLA and his team at A&R WORLDWIDE, and to my terrific staff at ALL ACCESS for their hard work and dedication to make WORLDWIDE RADIO SUMMIT 2012 such a unique and wonderful event."
SAT BISLA, President & Founder, A&R Worldwide -- MUSEXPO and co-Founder WORLDWIDE RADIO SUMMIT noted, "We're very excited for the recipients of the 2012 WORLDWIDE RADIO SUMMIT INDUSTRY AWARDS as selected by their peers from radio and those vested in radio from the US and around the world. It takes vision, passion and hard work to inspire those around us. Our recipients, as chosen by their peers, have demonstrated a robust work ethic, ingenuity and foresight, so we applaud their well-deserved awards.
"I would also like to thank my good friend and partner JOEL DENVER, President & Founder, ALLACCESS MUSIC GROUP and co-Founder WORLDWIDE RADIO SUMMIT and his team, the A&R WORLDWIDE and MUSEXPO team, as well as everyone who has been a part of the global radio community at the WORLDWIDE RADIO SUMMIT continued success as we start making plans for THE WORLDWIDE RADIO SUMMIT 2013."
