Music lovers far and wide are choking on their CHEERIOS this morning with the mind-numbing news that THE PPM's, which announced their arrival on the music scene just a few days ago (NET NEWS, 4/19) and made their debut performance for the WORLDWIDE RADIO SUMMIT on APRIL 27th at S.I.R. STUDIOS in HOLLYWOOD, have officially called it quits despite thunderous applause and three immediate 360 deal opportunities.
THE PPM's lead organizer, RED's DANNY BUCH, told ALL ACCESS, "It's all because of irreconcilable philosophical differences between PLATO vs. SOCRATES versions of the ADELE and JAMES BROWN original cover versions. We just can't go on like this.
"Plus the enormous egos of band members KZZP's TIM RICHARDS, GLASSNOTE's NICK PETROPOULOS, HOLLYWOOD's JUSTIN FONTAINE, CBS RADIO's BRIAN HADDAD, RED's EDIE LUNDEEN, and ALL ACCESS' PAUL COLBERT and ANNEKE CARTER were just too much for one stage."
BUCH, not without his own penchant for grabbing at low hanging fruit in terms of pushing hot buttons with his band mates, lashed out: "And NICK doesn't know the difference between a 'chord' and a 'cord,' which tells you something about his playing. And EDIE kept on and on about the damn brown M&Ms ... both you guys need to get a freakin' life or a therapist."
