Condolences to family and friends of longtime television news anchor and former WLW-A/CINCINNATI newsman BILL RATLIFF, who died TUESDAY (5/8) after complications from surgery in TAMPA at 63.
Best known for his 27-year run as anchor at MEDIA GENERAL NBC affiliate WFLA-TV/TAMPA and for stints at BELO ABC affiliate WFAA-TV/DALLAS, POST-NEWSWEEK NBC affiliate WDIV-TV/DETROIT, and NBC affiliate WLWT (TV)/CINCINNATI, RATLIFF began his career in radio at WLW, notes the CINCINNATI ENQUIRER's JOHN KIESEWETTER.
He retired from WFLA-TV in 2009 and more recently did political commentary for crosstown GANNETT CBS affiliate WTSP-TV.
