Ellen K Gets A Star On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame Today

The HOLLYWOOD CHAMBER OF COMMERCE will honor longtime KIIS/LOS ANGELES morning personality ELLEN K with a star on the HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME TODAY (5/10), in front of the W HOLLYWOOD HOTEL -- home of THE WORLDWIDE RADIO SUMMIT.

She will receive the 2,470th star on the Walk of Fame at 11:30a; MIRANDA COSGROVE, KRIS JENNER and RYAN SEACREST will be guest speakers. 

CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40 KIIS/LOS ANGELES co-host and AMERICAN IDOL host RYAN SEACREST told THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, "ELLEN has redefined what weekday mornings mean to so many of us -- she is the voice of L.A," and continued, "she is a brilliant radio host with a tireless work ethic and a wicked sense of humor. She deserves to be honored with a star, because simply put, she is one."

The Walk of Fame induction ceremonies are now streamed live at www.walkoffame.com and enabled in any language by ORTSBO.COM, the same folks that are sponsoring ELLENS' Post Star Party at the W HOTEL immediately following, and a special Red Carpet Any Language stream at WANGO TANGO SATURDAY hosed by ELLEN K as well.
