WOND Weekend Co-Host Found Shot To Death At Home

A woman who co-hosts a weekend show on LONGPORT MEDIA Talk WOND-A/ATLANTIC CITY has been found shot to death. 

APRIL KAUFFMAN, 47, co-host of the "KING ARTHUR SHOW" with ARTHUR GROPPER SUNDAYS noon-1p on WOND, was found dead at her home in LINWOOD, NJ.  NBC affiliate WMGM-TV (NBC 40)/WILDWOOD-ATLANTIC CITY reports that KAUFFMAN, a community activist, a director of the local AMERICAN RED CROSS chapter, and wife of a prominent doctor, Dr. JAMES M. KAUFFMAN, was shot multiple times.  ABC O&O WPVI-TV (6ABC)/PHILADELPHIA is reporting that the couple are gun collectors and supporters of military veterans.

No arrests have yet been made in the case.
