Last FRIDAY (5/11) CLEAR CHANNEL MEDIA AND ENTERTAINMENT Top 40 KHTS (CHANNEL 933)/SAN DIEGO presented the KHTS SUMMER KICKOFF CONCERT at the CRICKET WIRELESS AMPHITHEATRE, CHULA VISTA, (NET NEWS 5/15).

A huge part of the excitement was not only MAROON 5, FLO-RIDA, WIZ KHALIFA, GYM CLASS HEROES, THE WANTED, DEV, DJ HAVANA BROWN, CHRIS RENE and KARMIN on the lineup, but the appearance by AMERICAN IDOL fave JESSICA SANCHEZ.

KHTS PD JOE "HITMAN" HAZE told ALL ACCESS, "FRANKIE & GEENA THE LATINA were backstage with JESSICA SANCHEZ for a great interview, and then JESSICA did a walk on to her hometown of 18,000 in CHULA VISTA where the mayor declared it JESSICA SANCHEZ DAY. It was a great concert for a great city and it was all about our military being represented and how beautiful our city is ... and we support JESSICA SANCHEZ to become the next AMERICAN IDOL.
