Craig Morgan Plans Annual Charity Event, Announces Daughter's Wedding

BLACK RIVER ENTERTAINMENT artist CRAIG MORGAN has announced that he is set to host his 6th annual CHARITY WEEKEND AUGUST 11th and 12th in his hometown of DICKSON, TN. Proceeds from the two-day event, which includes a Celebrity Motocross Ride, concert and Sporting Clay Shoot, will benefit BILLY’S PLACE, an organization benefiting foster children in DICKSON COUNTY and throughout MIDDLE TENNESSEE.

The events will kick-off SATURDAY, AUGUST 11th with a motocross exhibition followed by a group trail ride and lunch. Later that night, CRAIG and several of his Country music friends will take to the stage for an intimate acoustic concert at DICKSON MIDDLE SCHOOL. A live and silent auction will also take place where attendees can bid on everything from autographed memorabilia to the chance to give CRAIG a high-and-tight haircut on stage during the event.

Last year’s new addition, the Sporting Clay Shoot, will return again the morning of SUNDAY, AUGUST 12th from NASHVILLE GUN CLUB. Teams of shooters will face off and display their shooting skills as they attempt to beat MORGAN, who was celebrity co-captain of this year’s winning team at the NRA COUNTRY/ACM SPORTING CLAY SHOOT.

All three events are open to the public. Individual event and bundled tickets will go on sale in JUNE. Celebrity participants for all three events will be announced at a later date.
