WNCS Wins Vermont Broadcasters Award

NORTHEAST BRAODCASTING Triple A WNCS (THE POINT)/BURLINGTON won a Best in Show prize announced MAY 17th at the VERMONT ASSOCIATION OF BROADCASTERS Commercial of the Year Awards luncheon.

WNCS won the Radio Best in Show award for "Toilet Talk," a commercial they wrote and produced for BLODGETT SUPPLY.

ELLEN GOODMAN wrote the copy, JOHN DOMIGAN produced it and AJ CROZBY did the voicing.

PD ZEB NORRIS said, "There are no successful commercial radio stations without successful sales teams.  ELLEN's creative approach to copy-writing shows a commitment to do more than just closing the sale and getting the money by also crafting a great product, in keeping with The Point's over-all commitment to quality.  And, of course, a good idea needs good execution, in this case provided with no muss and no fuss by JOHN and AJ."
