Report: Cumulus Houston Spin-Offs Find Buyers

The HOUSTON CHRONICLE is reporting that GOW COMMUNICATIONS has signed a letter of intent to buy Sports KFNC (ESPN 97.5 THE TICKET)/HOUSTON from AR LICENSING LLC, the company headed by broker LARRY PATRICK that was set up for CUMULUS spin-offs, for an undisclosed price.  GOW, owner of crosstown Sports KGOW-A (1560 THE GAME) and operator of YAHOO! SPORTS RADIO, is expected to continue the FM's ESPN affiliation, reports the CHRONICLE's DAVID BARRON.

At the same time, AR is selling Triple A KHJK (103.7 FM)/HOUSTON to EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION, BARRON is also reporting.
