Tower Collapse

The tower of CLEAR CHANNEL Sports WBIZ-A/EAU CLAIRE, WI collapsed in high winds on THURSDAY (5/24), knocking the station off the air, while a power outage took CLEAR CHANNEL's other six stations in the market off the air as well, reports the EAU CLAIRE LEADER-TELEGRAM.

Country WQRB (B-95) and Top 40 WBIZ (Z100) returned to the air by late THURSDAY.  The other stations -- AC WISM (MIX 98.1), Classic Country WATQ (MOOSE COUNTRY 106.7), Talk WMEQ-A, and Classic Rock WMEQ -- returned to the air early FRIDAY.
