WYAY Move, Frequency Change Dismissed At FCC

No Move For Now

The FCC has dismissed CUMULUS' move of News WYAY (ALL NEWS 106.7)/GAINESVILLE-ATLANTA closer to the center of the market with new city of license SANDY SPRINGS, GA.  The Commission lists the dismissal as being "per applicant's request."

The move, which would have necessitated changes at several other stations, would also have moved WYAY, which recently launched its new format, to 106.5 FM.
