Powerful Rumors In Phoenix

Rumors are rumbling across the Valley Of The Sun about the future of EMMIS Top 40/Rhythmic KKFR (POWER 92.3)/PHOENIX.  As poreviously reported, BONNEVILLE had bought the station with a plan to flip it to an FM simulcast of News/Talk KTAR-A.  Along with the purchase of the station, BONNEVILLE had announced plans to sell the intellectual property of KKFR, and it looks like they may have found a buyer.  

The rumor heard in the halls of PHOENIX radio stations is that RIVIERA BROADCASTING, owners of Alternative KEDJ (EDGE 103.9)/PHOENIX, are thisclose to making that purchase.  Although RIVIERA currently owns only KEDJ in the PHOENIX market, look for them to put POWER on a move-in.
