KQKE/SF's "Queer Channel" Sets Pride Specials

CKEAR CHANNEL Talk KQKE-A (960 THE QUAKE)/SAN FRANCISCO's weekend "QUEER CHANNEL" show has set three live broadcasts leading up to the city's Pride parade on JUNE 25. The first special on SUNDAY (6/18) will air from the CASTRO's METRO CITY BAR and will feature actor LESLIE JORDAN, "sexologist" Dr. CAROL QUEEN, and the BAY AREA ROLLER DERBY GIRLS. On JUNE 22, the show will team with the station's morning show (former Mayor WILLIE BROWN and comic WILL DURST) for a special show from CAFE FLORE. Finally, on JUNE 24, a special party and broadcast from the METRO CITY BAR will feature choreographer/filmmaker DREYA WEBER and comic RONN VIGH.
