GANNON BROADCASTING SYSTEMS, INC. is selling Adult Standards WGRY-A and Country WGRY-F (Y100)/GRAYLING, MI and AC WQON (DECADES 101)/ROSCOMMON, MI to SHERYL and GERALD COYNE's BLARNEY STONE BROADCASTING, INC. for $425,000. 

In other filings with the FCC, TOWERS INVESTMENT TRUST, INC. has requested a Silent STA for KXXN/IOWA PARK, TX for "economic reasons" while the station awaits its pending sale to KIXC-FM, LLC for $240,000.

BOULDER RADIO PARTNERS, LLC has applied for a Silent STA for FM translator K245AD/ARVADA, CO after a routine inspection revealed that "all of its transmission equipment had either been stolen or removed from the site."

JOURNAL BROADCAST GROUP has closed on the purchase of Top 40 KHTT (106.9 K-HITS) and Adult Hits KBEZ (92.9 BOB FM)/TULSA from RENDA BROADCASTING (NET NEWS, 3/7) for $11.8 million.

And in a deal yet to be fled with the FCC, ORLANDO public broadcaster WMFE has sold former PBS affiliate WMFE-TV to the UNIVERSITY OF CENTRAL FLORIDA for $3.3 million.  UCF presently holds the PBS affiliation and airs it as "WUCF-TV" over BREVARD COMMUNITY COLLEGE noncommercial WBCC-TV/COCOA; the deal will move the PBS affiliation and WUCF programming to channel 24, which was the longtime primary PBS affiliate before WMFE decided to sell the TV operation.  A previous sale of the station to religious operator DAYSTAR failed to close.  WMFE retains NPR affiliate WMFE-F/ORLANDO.
