AM 820 News/Tampa Renews Deal With WTSP-TV

GENESIS COMMUNICATIONS News WWBA-A (AM 820 NEWS)/TAMPA and GANNETT-owned CBS affiliate WTSP-TV (10 NEWS)/ST. PETERSBURG-TAMPA have inked a renewal of their joint content agreement, continuing the TV station's supply of weather and news updates to the radio station and the simulcast of 10 NEWS newscasts on AM 820.

GENESIS Pres. BRUCE MADURI said, "Adding 10 NEWS WTSP to our 50,000-watt transmitter on AM 820 covering most of FLORIDA will keep listeners informed no matter what their commute. This continued partnership will allow people to stay connected with local news during those hours -- traffic, weather, sports, and your money, everything that matters in our community.
