NASHVILLE songwriter SUSANNA CLARK, wife of artist GUY CLARK, has passed away at age 73. CLARK penned songs for artists such as EMMYLOU HARRIS, KATHEY MATTEA, MIRANDA LAMBERT, ROSANNE CASH, JERRY JEFF WALKER, her husband GUY, and many more. CLARK had been in poor health in recent years.

The songwriter is known to have talked her husband GUY into quitting his job at a HOUSTON television station, so the couple could pursue music full-time. They moved to NASHVILLE in 1971.

Memorial arrangements are still pending.
