The storms that battered the WASHINGTON, DC area and left much of the region without power also cut off power, T-1, ISDN and Internet service at the studios of SALEM RADIO NETWORK's "MORNING IN AMERICA WITH BILL BENNETT," and that left BENNETT unable to broadcast MONDAY.
SALEM Talk KSKY-A (660 THE ANSWER)/DALLAS host and FRIDAY "MORNING IN AMERICA" host MARK DAVIS was able to fill in for BENNETT from SRN's DALLAS headquarters, fed through the network's NEW YORK studios at the EMPIRE STATE BUILDING. BENNETT is back TODAY and WEDNESDAY via ISDN from the HERITAGE FOUNDATION's studios in WASHINGTON and is expected to be back at his regular studio by THURSDAY. DAVIS will host FRIDAY's show as per usual.
