CBS RADIO Top 40 WDZH (98.7 AMP RADIO)/DETROIT has promoted part-time personality IAN "SLACKER" RICHARDS to MD/afternoon-drive host, effective MONDAY, JULY 16th. Previously MD/nights at WRCL/FLINT, MI, SLACKER has simultaneously been doing part-time at AMP RADIO launched in OCTOBER 2009.

"SLACKER’s presentation and experience on 98.7 AMP RADIO make him a prime choice as our new afternoon host and MD," PD TIM RAINEY said. "He brings a lot of experience to the table, and I’m confident he can elevate afternoons on AMP -- without slacking."

"FLINT is home, but I am eager to take the next step in my career by moving to DETROIT and joining 98.7 AMP RADIO full-time," SLACKER said.
