TNS MEDIA INTELLIGENCE is forecasting a 4,9% increase in total ad spending to $150.3 billion for the full year 2006, but that's a downward revision from the initially-forecast 5.4% growth estimated in JANUARY.
Now, TNS estimates that radio will grow at a 2.1% rate, ahead of only newspapers (0.2%) and b-to-b magazines (-0.3%) among all media. Internet spending (13%) and Spanish-language media (12.9%, not including radio) top the growth chart for all media.
