PAMPLIN Talk KPAM-A (AM 860)/PORTLAND will air PORTLAND WINTERHAWKS junior hockey this season in the first year of a three season deal. The station will air all 72 regular season games plus playoffs.
PD DENNIS GLASGOW said, “We’re extremely excited to be the exclusive radio home for the PORTLAND WINTERHAWKS, as it doesn’t get any more local than this for our valued AM 860 listeners. WINTERHAWKS Nation now has a strong radio home where they can count on hearing each and every game on multiple listening platforms, which benefits both hockey fans and the PORTLAND WINTERHAWKS organization.”
WINTERHAWKS Pres. DOUG PIPER added, “Bringing our games to KPAM will give us tremendous local coverage on over-the-air radio. KPAM is a PORTLAND institution with excellent signal strength. We’re also excited about the exclusive programming we’ll continue to have available on the WINTERHAWKS Radio Network. We received tremendous feedback on the network last year and we look forward to taking it to even greater heights this season.”
