Carrie Underwood and Dierks Bentley Show Appreciation To Teachers

19/ ARISTA/ NASHVILLE artist CARRIE UNDERWOOD and CAPITOL NASHVILLE artist DIERKS BENTLEY have joined the lineup in an upcoming CBS television special “TEACHERS ROCK”, airing live from the NOKIE THEATER in LOS ANGELES on AUGUST 18th at 8pm (ET).
“TEACHERS ROCK” will be a televised benefit concert for teachers and educational organizations. Performances will include those from all genres of music, as well as appearances from actors such as MERYL STREEP, MORGAN FREEMAN and JENNIFER GARNER who will tell personal stories about the teachers who have impacted their lives.
CARRIE UNDERWOOD commented on her 8th grade music teacher, MRS. COOPER. “MRS. COOPER’s always been such a positive influence. [She] gave me my first chance to perform on stage.” Said UNDERWOOD.
