Jan Jeffries, Val Garris Get Cumulus VP/Programming Stripes

CUMULUS MEDIA Exec. VP JOHN DICKEY has announced the promotion of both JAN JEFFRIES and VAL GARRIS to VP/Programming.
DICKEY, in a company memo, said, "VAL and JAN have spent the last 8 years helping CUMULUS build and grow great brands in the AC, Top 40, and Rock arenas. I consider VAL and JAN to be two of the best radio strategists and programmers in the business. The contributions they have made to our company have contributed greatly to CUMULUS' reputation as the best run radio company in AMERICA. Please take some time to congratulate JAN and VAL on this great distinction. They worked very hard for this honor. I look forward to many more years of contribution and leadership from JAN and VAL in our corporate programming department."
I consider Val and Jan to be two of the best radio strategists and programmers in the business.
JEFFRIES, whose programming credits included WLS/CHICAGO, WBSB/BALTIMORE, and WSTR/ATLANTA, said, "It is an honor to be recognized with VP stripes for something that you love doing everyday!
