Longtime ENTERCOM Classic Rock KUFX (K-FOX)/SAN JOSE and KUZX/SAN FRANCISCO morning man GREG KIHN has been inducted into the BAY AREA RADIO HALL OF FAME (http://www.bayarearadio.org/). KIHN, the artist who had hits n the '80s such as "Jeopardy " and "The Breakup Song (They Don't Write 'Em Like That)." broke into radio in 1996 on K-FOX doing overnights before moving up to mornings.
"What an honor!" KIHN stated. "I never would have thought that such a thing was possible. Since I first started at KFOX radio way back when it was a little mom and pop Classic Rock station in SAN JOSE, through a myriad of owners, to its current day status as THE powerhouse Rock station in the BAY AREA, I never thought I would achieve anything like this. I am honestly humbled. Thanks to everyone who voted for me, I truly appreciate it."
The latest members of the BAY AREA RADIO HALL OF FAME will be celebrated for their achievements in broadcasting on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 6th, 2012 at a special luncheon at the DOUBLETREE INN on the BERKELEY MARINA.
