Artie Lange Suspended From 'Nick And Artie' For Urination Incident

TMZ is reporting that DIRECTV, the producer of the PREMIERE NETWORKS-syndicated NICK AND ARTIE SHOW, has suspended co-host ARTIE LANGE for two shows for urinating in a trash basket in the studio during FRIDAY's show and demanding that the show's two female production assistants clean it up.

The site reports that LANGE tweeted, "DIRECT TV (sic) has suspended me from the N&A show for the next 2 nights. They won't tell me fully why. Can't continue w them. Sorry guys. Luv u." Later, he tweeted, "DIRECT TV are good ppl. I apologize to them for doing an offensive show." And by MONDAY afternoon, both tweets had been deleted.

Co-host NICK DIPAOLO opened MONDAY's show by telling listeners that LANGE, who he described as having "diabetes Type 72," had been given "the radio equivalent of a time out."

And late TUESDAY, LANGE tweeted, "Back on the air tonight guys. For the record I LOVE DIRECT TV. Never worked for better people. And as you know. I've always been a pisser!!"
