WCVO Launches 'Mission Backpack'

Helping Area Children

ONE CONNECTION MEDIA GROUP Contemporary Christian WCVO (104.9 THE RIVER)/COLUMBUS is giving listeners the opportunity to provide area children with needed school supplies through its annual campaign MISSION BACKPACK.

This year HEARTLAND BANK has come on board to help the campaign.  Listeners can drop off backpacks filled with school supplies to any of the elven HEARTLAND BANK locations in CENTRAL OHIO.  Each location will have a MISSION BACKPACK collection box in the lobby through AUGUST 18th.

The station aims to collect 1,004 backpacks to benefit its partner LUTHERAN SOCIAL SERVICES FOOD PANTRY.  The food pantry will hand out the backpacks to the families and children that it serves.
